The trio of London-based 20-somethings prefaced their performance of Kings of Leon's 'Use Somebody' on tonight's (September 16) show with teaching assistant Sterling saying: "I think ladies and young girls are all going to love our music."

When Dermot O'Leary asked the group whether they were ready for "all these girls to know your names", Sterling replied: "I need to make some more space in my phone book. In two years' time, when I have at least four number ones, one Brit award, one MOBO award. It's all games and fun, but it's serious. There is not a group out there like us, it's time for a change."
Band member Kas addressed Tulisa upon hitting the stage, and Sterling told the judges of their desire to be "the biggest band in the world".
Gary Barlow told the group that they "were born to be on the stage", but that they would be "an absolute nightmare to mentor".

After the band were put through to the next stage, Louis Walsh joked: "Tulisa wants to mentor them already!", to which she agreed, saying: "I could mentor them!"
Backstage, the ever-confident Sterling noted: "Tulisa was feeling me."
The X Factor continues tonight at 8pm on ITV1.
