'X Factor' Brad Shackleton moans over lack of airtime: 'Simply not fair'

By
X Factor hopeful Brad Shackleton has criticised his lack of airtime on the show.

The singer has reached the final six remaining contestants in Gary Barlow's over-28s category.

However, he slammed producers over his amount of coverage on the show so far compared to others.

His first audition was only shown on ITV2 spin-off The Xtra Factor.

Shackleton took to Twitter during the weekend's shows to let his followers know what song he was singing at Boot Camp.

"Gutted I've had no ITV1 airtime so far. Really sucks and simply not fair," he wrote.

He added: "Thanks! Feel so special #noairtime."

An X Factor spokesperson stated that not all contestants are able to be shown each week.

"Owing to the programme running time, it is not possible to show all of the contestants' auditions," they said.

The X Factor continues next Saturday (September 29) at 7.30pm on ITV1, where the acts will join their mentors for the Judges' Houses stage of the competition.
