'X Factor' Carolynne Poole: 'I learned lesson from Twitter row'

Carolynne Poole has admitted that she made a mistake getting involved in a Twitter row with The Only Way Is Essex star Maria Fowler.

The singer, who is in Gary Barlow's Overs category, said that she had learned a valuable lesson in the dispute, which was sparked by Fowler's criticism of fellow Overs singer Kye Sones.



"It's hard because it was my first mistake. I just said, 'Give it a rest', it was tongue-in-cheek," Poole told Digital Spy. "I don't know how she took it, but she laid into me quite fiercely.

"I learned my lesson early. I learned people are reading what we are tweeting."

Poole's mentor Barlow mocked Fowler's claim to fame with TOWIE, laughing: "Is that [show] still on TV?"
