He predicted that each of his groups could have worldwide hits, saying they are reflective of today's popular music trends.
"I think the three acts could be a hit anywhere in the world," he told Daybreak. "MK1, we've never had an urban act like them on the show before, I love Charlie's voice."
Walsh dismissed any claims that his two boybands are too similar, stating: "The two boybands - I mean, everyone thinks they're similar, but they're not. They're very different, in a quite current way."
He also said that he couldn't predict who would win the overall competition, as there are potential champions in each category.
"The standard is much higher in every category. There's someone really good in every category... I wouldn't put money on anyone at the moment."
He added: "I'm very happy with the three acts. The girls are already outside looking for them."
Louis Walsh's remaining group Times Red will discover if they have also made the live shows on Saturday, October 6.
Ella Henderson is currently the favourite to win among Digital Spy fans.
