'X Factor': Christopher Maloney's snoring keeps Kye Sones awake

X Factor star Christopher Maloney has been keeping his roommate Kye Sones awake with his snoring.

On tonight's Xtra Factor, viewers will see Sones struggle to sleep in the same room as his fellow contestant, before eventually seeking peace and quiet elsewhere in the hotel.



Sones attempts to sleep in the lift, on the balcony and in the bath just to get away from Maloney, who joined the competition as a wildcard entry last weekend thanks to a public vote.

"Kye was caught out as the lift accidentally went to Ground Floor," a source explained. "He emerged from the lift in his pants and duvet in the middle of 5* hotel reception, surprising hotel guests and staff."

They added: "He quickly covered himself up and rushed back upstairs."



In tonight's show, contestants will sing songs that fit the theme of 'Love and Heartbreak'. James Arthur is due to cover Mary J Blige's 'No More Drama' and 16-year-old Ella Henderson is said to be performing 'Lovin' You' by Minnie Riperton.

Controversial contestant Rylan Clark's song choice has not yet been revealed, but the 23-year-old from Essex today (October 13) tweeted that "balloons and Barlow" would be key to his performance.
