The controversial contestant, who has remained close with the model after appearing on her show Signed by Katie Price last year, said that he'd be happy to "have an ounce of [her] success".
Speaking to Digital Spy and other journalists, Clark said: "At the end of the day I don't want a normal job. I think I'd love to be a brand.
"I'd love to be a household name and I think I've achieved that already... I can sing, I can dance, there's a lot more to me as well, like I love fashion. I'd love to have my own stuff."
He continued: "[Katie and I], we're actually quite similar people and look what's happened, we're getting quite similar press.
"I'd love to have an ounce of success that she's had... anyone in their right mind that says, 'I wouldn't like to have the same career as Katie Price', I would think they're f**king lying."
Clark added though that he does not want to become famous for the sake of it, and would rather become successful doing something that he loves.
"If you were to ask me when I was 18 years old, 'Do you want to be famous, are you fame hungry?' Yeah I was. I really was," he confessed.
"But now, I just wanna do something that I enjoy doing, that's all it is about for me now."
Price has publicly voiced her support for Clark and said that she will duet with him if he makes it to the X Factor final.
The X Factor continues tomorrow (October 20) at 8pm on ITV1.
