'The X Factor' Halloween week - in pictures

The X Factor had its annual Halloween special tonight, and although the theme was stretched to its limit ('Killing Me Softly' isn't scary just because of its name, producers...), there were still some, er, spooktacular performances.

The night also saw Tulisa and Gary Barlow pick up their handbags, a whole lot of smoky effects and chilling make-up and, yes, a spot of singing along the way.
