'X Factor' District3 found Chris Maloney 'passed out drunk'

X Factor stars District3 have revealed how they found fellow contestant Christopher Maloney "completely passed out" drunk one night before rehearsals last week.

The boyband recalled finding the 34-year-old "literally sprawled out" at their hotel following Rylan Clark's birthday party on Wednesday (October 24).



Speaking to Digital Spy and other journalists, District3 member Greg West explained: "We tried to get him into bed and that but... he was literally completely passed out.

"We were like, 'Come on Chris, go to bed mate, you've got to get up for rehearsals', but he was having none of it".

The trio admitted that they had done "a little bit of tormenting" to Maloney in his inebriated state, and couldn't resist "slapping [him] every now and again".



Asked which member of the band is the worst drunk, District3 settled on Micky Parsons, as he "changes completely" and "likes to get naked" on a night out.

"I've got far too many pictures of Micky when he's just fallen asleep on top of his bed naked," West confessed.

Maloney was reported to have caused a stir at X Factor last week when he fled to his native Liverpool and missed a masterclass with Robbie Williams. He has since claimed that he was granted permission to return home.

The former cruise ship entertainer was found to have sung the most 'bum notes' in a study of Saturday's (October 27) live show.
