The controversial contestant has survived four weeks of the contest after the first elimination show ended in deadlock, with viewers saving him over Gary Barlow's act Carolynne Poole.
Speaking in a Sun webchat, Clark revealed that he does not expect to win.
"I wouldn't put money on it, because you'll probably lose and gambling isn't good for you," the singer said. "But no, I don't think I will win."
Clark also made light of his relationship with judge Barlow, who has been a vocal critic of the 23-year-old.
He said: "I think Gary is handsome - and I used to sing Take That in a boyband."
Earlier today, Clark and other performers paid tribute to former X Factor contestant Lucy Spraggan, who chose to leave the contest due to ill health.
