Ray Quinn frightened by Courtney Love

X Factor runner-up Ray Quinn has revealed that Courtney Love has taken a shine to him.

The 18-year-old singer, who releases his debut album tomorrow, admitted that he was terrified when he met Courtney in Los Angeles earlier this year.

"She told me that she thought I was really cool and that she'd been hooked on watching me on the show," Ray told the Daily Star Sunday. "I was really flattered. But she is one scary woman."

Quinn has also heard that the Queen is a fan of his swing music, and has sent her a copy of the album.

"When I found out that the Queen was a fan it blew my mind," he explained. "I couldn't believe it. I keep having images of her and Prince Philip listening to the album in Buckingham Palace."
