The 24-year-old, who emerged victorious in the singing competition last night (December 9), has released his cover of Barbadian popstar Shontelle's 'Impossible', which he performed on the final of the show. The track is available to download now.
The single will be given a physical release on Wednesday (December 12), and will be backed with Arthur's X Factor renditions of LMFAO's 'Sexy and I Know It', Eurythmics' 'Sweet Dreams' and Adele's 'Hometown Glory'.
All proceeds from sales will be donated to Together for Short Lives, a charity for children with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions.
Arthur said of the song: "I am absolutely overwhelmed to have won The X Factor. I am lost for words. To have been be able to perform my winner's single was just insane. I love the song and am so glad that proceeds of the single will be going to such a great cause."
X Factor boss Simon Cowell also commented: "Together for Short Lives is such an inspiring and important charity for so many kids and their families who really need help and support. I'm delighted that The X Factor's winner single sales will go directly to helping them."
