Mel B is reportedly "getting signs" that she will be able to have a role on the singing show.

The Mirror reports that the 37-year-old Spice Girl, who is currently a judge on the Australian version of the series, has also started looking into schools for her children in London ahead of a permanent relocation.

The newspaper quotes a source as saying that she is "ready to come back" to Britain.

They continued: "All her obligations in Australia, where she's been living for two years, come to completion at the end of January."

Mel B won praise by many for her performance as a temporary judge during the auditions stage of the ITV1 show.
