'X Factor': '90s boyband rejects Next of Kin audition

A '90s pop act once billed as the British answer to Hanson appear on tonight's X Factor auditions hoping to secure a second crack at fame.

The three brothers from Essex had a No.13 single in 1999 with '24 Hours From You' and were signed to Universal Records and Simon Fuller's 19 Productions.

At the height of their fame, they toured with Steps and Boyzone and went on the 1998 Smash Hits tour.

However, they were eventually dropped by their label and have been out of the limelight ever since.

Nathan, 32, Kieran, 27, and Mark, 29, are attempting to make a comeback via The X Factor and perform a self-penned track on this evening's episode.

"We've waited 10 years for this," the group tell the judges.
