'The X Factor': Tamera Foster named early favourite to win series

The X Factor's Tamera Foster has been revealed as the early favourite to win the series.

The 16-year-old - who was selected as one of Nicole Scherzinger's final three this evening (October 6) - is currently 9/4 favourite to take this year's crown with bookmakers William Hill.

Louis Walsh's contestant Nicholas McDonald is 4/1 second favourite, while Abi Alton follows with odds of 6/1.

Sam Bailey appears to be the most likely Over 25 to triumph this year at 13/2 and Hannah Barrett and Sam Callahan follow at 9/1 and 12/1 respectively.

Kingsland Road and Miss Dynamix are seen as the most likely of Gary Barlow's groups to win, both with odds of 14/1. Meanwhile, Luke Friend and Rough Copy are at 20/1.

Sharon Osbourne's Lorna Simpson and Shelley Smith are currently seen as outsiders after securing their places in the Top 12 this weekend. Simpson has odds of 25/1 and Smith is further adrift at 50/1.

The X Factor Live Shows kick off next Saturday (October 12) at 8pm on ITV.
