Miss Dynamix's pregnant band member SeSe Foster was taken to hospital this evening (October 19).

As a result, the band did not perform on tonight's X Factor Live Show, and automatically went through to next week.

An X Factor spokesperson said: "SeSe felt unwell prior to the dress rehearsal and so as a precaution and because she is pregnant, she was taken to hospital this evening.

"As SeSe took the lead vocal in tonight's number, it was too late to re-work the performance as a duo, and therefore Miss Dynamix will not perform in tonight's show and will be given a bye through to next week."

During this evening's show, footage was aired of SeSe collapsed on the floor and then being taken in a wheelchair to an ambulance

Mentor Gary Barlow said of the situation: "We're all devastated. SeSe is nearly six months pregnant so we couldn't take any risks at all tonight. The best place for her right now is in the hospital... They're seeing she's alright; we've heard she's fine."

Backstage, the other Miss Dynamix members, Jeanette Akua and Rielle Carrington, told Caroline Flack they were "extremely disappointed... but SeSe's health comes first".

Explaining why they could not have performed as a duo, Akua said: "All three of us had lead verses this week and an hour's not enough time to learn her part... And we're a three-piece band, it just doesn't make sense to continue without her."

Dermot O'Leary added: "It's easy to give the girls a hard time but SeSe's health is the most important thing."

Later in the show, O'Leary announced: "We are pleased to say that SeSe is doing very well and resting at home."

Foster, who already has one daughter, revealed her baby news just days before the start of this year's Live Shows.

Because of Miss Dynamix's absence, The Jonathan Ross Show will begin five minutes earlier than previously scheduled, at 10pm.
