X Factor's Kingsland Road: 'Sam Bailey will be this year's winner'

By
Kingsland Road have revealed that they expect Sam Bailey to win this year's X Factor.

The band, who were eliminated from the show last weekend after a sing-off against 16-year-old Tamera Foster, said they believe that the former prison officer from Leicestershire has won the hearts of the British public.

"I think Sam Bailey will win it," said the group's Josh Zare in an interview with Celebritain.com.

"I think the public have really taken her into their hearts."

"I can see why there are Susan Boyle comparisons," he continued.

"She isn't the youngest in the competition, but actually she is more contemporary than Subo, she doesn't sing classical stuff."

When asked who else they thought was in the running, they added: "Definitely Sam and Nicholas... [they] both have that public appeal.

"They don't have prior experience and I think viewers just love them.

"Obviously being in the Groups category, we throw our support behind Rough Copy.

"We became really close with them, they were our mates and we would love to see them do well."

The X Factor continues with 'Big Band Week' on Saturday (November 9) at 8pm on ITV.
