Tabby warns 'X Factor' stars to stay grounded

The singer, who finished in third position on the first series in 2004, explained that his down-to-earth attitude has helped him to maintain his credibility since he appeared on the programme.
"I've been playing guitar since I was five and performing live since I was 15, so I have the history and the background," Tabby told the Daily Record. "It's crazy that people think they can go from flipping a burger to being an international star. They think that because they have been singing in the shower they are due success, but there is no quick fix.
"I think people can tell the difference between a real musician and someone who wants to be a superstar."
Tabby is releasing a new single 'King Of The Town' on September 24, ahead of the release of his album Songs From The Gut.
