Cowell denies 'X Factor' feud rumours

Reports that the pair are "at war" were printed in two Sunday newspapers yesterday, but Cowell has insisted that the allegations are "a pack of lies".
"I have seen nothing which makes me think they don't get on. We're one big, happy family," Simon told The Mirror. "I've been with them throughout the auditions and I just don't see it. There were a few days at the start when things were awkward but that was simply because they didn't know each other.
"Unless I'm the most naive person in the world, there are no rows. Someone is just going about quietly whispering these things, which are a pack of lies."
Show 'insiders' have contradicted Cowell's claims, explaining that Sharon took a dislike to Dannii when she made a comment about fancying Victoria Beckham's husband David, which Osbourne deemed inappropriate.
Sharon's loyalty to Posh also affected her work on the celebrity version of the show in 2006. She made a number of catty comments about contestant Rebecca Loos, who once claimed that she had an affair with David, during the live shows.
