Sinitta backs Sharon over Dannii Minogue

Sinitta has insisted that Sharon Osbourne should not be worried about being pushed off X Factor by Dannii Minogue.

Recent press rumours have suggested that Sharon will not be invited back for a fifth series because Simon Cowell and the show's producers now prefer Dannii.

However, Sinitta, who helps to mentor Cowell's contestants each year, has claimed that Sharon is doing a much better job than Dannii.

"People have been saying how Dannii is pushing Sharon out, but from what I have seen, Sharon is more than holding her own," Sinitta told the Daily Star Sunday.

"I think Dannii's arrival has cemented Sharon as the grand dame of X Factor because she isn't going to let Dannii steal the show."

Sinitta recently complained that Dannii should not have been chosen to join the programme.
