Walsh 'X Factor' quit rumour denied
Published Wednesday, Oct 17 2007, 14:10 BST | By Beth Hilton

Walsh had been quoted in the News of the World as saying that he wanted to concentrate on his day job as a music manager.
He reportedly said: "I will do one more series. I have really enjoyed doing it but I'm not a TV star, I'm a band manager. X Factor takes over your life. By the end of the show I am exhausted, and then I have to work with my acts."
According to the paper, he added that he wants to spend more time managing his group Westlife and last year's X Factor winner Shayne Ward.
But the show's website reassured fans that Walsh would not be going anywhere, saying: "Despite rumours that Louis will not renew his contract for series five, we've been told to let you know that as far as the show is concerned, there is 'no truth at all in these rumours'. So it looks like our favourite Irish judge will be around for a long time to come."
