The Australian popstar, who joined the show's judging panel in June, admitted that she has "bumbled" through her first year on the ITV1 singing contest.
"I'm learning stuff every week. I've never been in this position. I haven't had the advantage of the other judges to have been in management," she said.
However, Minogue has so enjoyed mentoring the contestants in the 'Boys 14-24' category - including finalists Leon Jackson and Rhydian Roberts - that she is planning to branch out into artist management.
"What I have discovered is the passion inside me to see someone else succeed and get that chance. It's huge – maybe even more than the passion have for myself," she admitted.
"Maybe I've opened up something that will become a new part of my career – working for these guys and whoever else."
