Rhydian Roberts
A number of fans have complained that they could not vote for Welsh singer Rhydian on Saturday night because lines were constantly engaged.
The issue has even resulted in five Welsh radio stations boycotting the debut single of the show's winner Leon Jackson.
However, a spokesman for the show insisted: "We had millions of votes cast and there were no problems with the voting. Some Virgin customers took several efforts due to the high call volume, but that was all. In any huge phone event like this, a few people will have to keep trying."
