Rhydian avoids 'X Factor' wrap party

Rhydian Roberts chose not to attend The X Factor wrap party following claims that fans could not vote for him in the show's final.

TV watchdog Ofcom is now investigating complaints from viewers who have suggested that Rhydian lost out on winning the show because his phone line was engaged, a claim which ITV has denied.

Show winner Leon Jackson, finalists Hope, judge Louis Walsh and presenters Dermot O'Leary and Fearne Cotton all attended last night's party, according to the Daily Mail.

Rhydian was notably absent from the bash, as were panel members Simon Cowell, Sharon Osbourne and Dannii Minogue.
