Cowell predicts Rhydian will be star

Simon Cowell has predicted that Rhydian Roberts will earn £20 million in the next five years.

Roberts lost out to Leon Jackson in last year's X Factor final, but Cowell believes that the Welsh singer has the dedication to make a success of his career.

He told Star magazine: "He could make £20 million over five years. He has got something about him.

"He has got that look in his eyes, that steel that every good artist needs. He's a showman."

Cowell also admitted that Dannii Minogue was the best judge in this year's competition, saying: "She worked harder than anyone else with her acts. She got two acts to the final and that's what it's all about."

Earlier this month it was reported that Roberts had agreed a £1 million deal with Cowell's record label.
