Rhydian turns lights off on Leon

Rhydian Roberts accidentally turned the lights off during an X Factor tour performance by Leon Jackson.

The pair, who competed in the reality TV final last year, are currently playing around the country on the programme's annual tour.

However, Roberts caused problems for the show's winner when he tripped on a plug that was powering the concert's electrics.

Fellow X Factor contestant Niki Evans told the Daily Star: "At the end of his performance Rhydian jumps off the stage and runs around the side to make way for Leon.

"But the other night he happened to run around the wrong way and step on a plug which turned all the bloody electrics off.

"He claims it was an accident but whether it was sabotage or not I don’t know.

"Luckily, everyone could still hear Leon but all the stage went dark behind him. He carried on like a trooper and, bless him, he could see the funny side of it afterwards."
