Dannii speaks about Osbourne feud

Dannii Minogue has opened up about her rivalry with Sharon Osbourne on The X Factor.

The singer frequently clashed with Osbourne after joining the ITV1 show last year and recently said she was staying away from the nationwide tour to avoid her fellow judge.

She claimed that the rock matriarch had failed to congratulate her when Leon Jackson and Rhydian Roberts gave her 14-24 boys category the top two places in the competition.

She is quoted by The Sun as saying: “I have had my ups and downs with her. While she was busy talking about why I shouldn’t be there and bad-mouthing me, I just got on with the job and kept silent.

“I think it was very embarrassing for her when two out of three of my artists ended up getting the No 1 and No 2 slots.

“Only Simon Cowell has ever done that. So I thought I should go to Sharon and say, ‘Go suck on that!’ But I restrained myself."

She added: "There was only one person who didn’t congratulate me - and that was Ms Osbourne.”
