Huq to replace Cotton on ‘Xtra Factor’?

Former Blue Peter presenter Konnie Huq is in talks to replace Fearne Cotton on The Xtra Factor.

According to The Sun, show bosses are considering the 32-year-old and three other people for the ITV2 X Factor spin-off.

Cotton quit earlier this month after landing a presenting job in the US, while Huq made her last appearance on Blue Peter in January after 10 years on the show.

DJ Reggie Yates, who hosts the BBC Radio 1 breakfast show with Cotton, is also rumoured to be a possibility for the job.
