The X Factor UK: Final 32
10. Meet Little Mix...
Perrie, Leigh-Anne, Jesy and Jade had barely registered on our radars as solo acts. Louis Walsh even wanted to send Perrie home at her first audition. But something happened at Judges' Houses in Greece when these four oddly dressed girls performed together for the first time. They were an X Factor girlband. And they were good. Tomorrow night they could be crowned champions. Now that would be incredible.

Tulisa Contostavlos
9. Tulisa fights back
Tulisa was a shock addition to the X Factor judging panel, with her musical background hardly a match for the likes of Barlow and Rowland. However, she soon proved that she could go toe-to-toe with the best of them when she was challenged at the auditions over her spot on the show. Her bust-up with George Gerasimou (possibly over who's name scores the most in scrabble) in episode one, established her as a no-nonsense star and had many people asking, 'Cheryl who?'

8. Kelly Rowland pulls a sickie
We've all pulled a sickie at some point in our lives. But doing one when you're in the middle of the biggest TV show in the country is quite impressive. Of course, Kelly Rowland did have very good reasons. We could all hear her terrible case of the sniffles when she phoned in her vote on Sunday night. Ahem. Her absence brought us a bonkers stint from Alexandra Burke and some terrible Louis Walsh gags, so we should probably be grateful for her bout of flu.

The Spirit of London Awards 2011: John Wilding
7. Bye, bye John Wilding
He did his teeth up. He got a new hat. He worked on his vocals. John Wilding had done everything possible to ensure that 2011 was his year on X Factor. After falling short at Judges' Houses once before, he looked destined to be luckier on his second attempt. Surely Gazza Barlow wouldn't ditch the honey-soaked vocalist and shatter his dreams again? Gary Barlow, you bad, bad man. He deserved better. Maybe next year John.

6. Kitty goes for a swim
Kitty Brucknell + a swimming pool = inevitable drama. Chico may have done it before with Sharon Osbourne, but Kitty's bizarre bomb-dive into the pool was still a priceless Kitty moment. You know someone is truly bonkers when they can make Sinitta look like a bore. Kitty did just that. If the pop career flops, she could be the new face of a paddling pool firm.
