Exclusive: 'X Factor' MK1 teach us the drums! Perform Rizzle Kicks - video

By
The surprise package on Saturday's first X Factor live show (aside from Rylan Clark's throne) came in the shape of MK1.

The energetic duo - Simeon Dixon, Charlie Rundle - gave a showstopping performance that made all the drippy ballads and wet boyband crooning from their rivals look about 10 years out-of-date.

Watch MK1's drum lesson and a special performance of Rizzle Kicks:

And Simon and Charlie aren't just cracking singers. The hip-hop duo are also very generous as well.

The pair took time out of their busy schedule this week to arrange a secret jamming session with Digital Spy. With Louis Walsh as their mentor, they need all the help that they can get, so we wanted to gift them our (limited) musical skills.

The multi-talented Charlie did her best to teach us some basic drum beats and then the pair allowed us to bash along with a specially recorded cover of Rizzle Kicks's 'Mama Do The Hump'.

DS probably won't be getting the call to join the group this Saturday, but at least when they end up becoming X Factor champions and turn into the biggest band in the world, we can tell our grandkids that we once whacked a cymbal for them.

The X Factor continues this weekend with a Love & Heartbreak theme.
