Forsyth, 80, has signed up for the reality show's forthcoming sixth series, but is refusing to comment on his long-term future with the programme.
Daly, who has presented the show with Bruce since 2004, insisted that there is no truth in rumours that the decision could be taken out of his hands.
"That rumour is utter rubbish. The choice will always be his and it's disrespectful to discuss otherwise," Tess told the Daily Record. "The job is his, the show is his and he's still doing a wonderful job. Bruce is amazing, you can't knock him. He's been a complete legend for all of our lifetimes."
Daly also hinted that the sixth series could have a longer run. She added: "I can't confirm that yet, though."
