New Strictly Come Dancing recruit Hayley Holt has revealed that she is expecting producers to pair her up with a potential love interest.
The professional dancer has been snapped up for the new series following appearances on Dancing With The Stars in New Zealand, her home country.
Holt admitted that she could follow in the footsteps of Brendan Cole and Flavia Cacace by starting a romance with her celebrity dance partner.
"The dancers have to make do with who they get given," Holt told the Daily Star. "It's a bit nerve-wracking before you find out who they've paired you with.
"I think the producers try to match up people who might make headlines - romance possibilities. It is all part of their cunning plan."
Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One next month.
