'Strictly' star doesn't dance at clubs

Strictly Come Dancing star Anton Du Beke has banned himself from dancing when he goes out with friends.

The professional ballroom dancer revealed that he draws too much attention to himself when he hits the dancefloor in clubs.

"I don't dance in nightclubs. I find it a bit of a struggle to go and dance socially," Anton admitted. "It can be a bit tricky. People want to dance with you and, before you know it, you are on all night. You can't even go and have a break for a wee!

"Some people also get intimidated. I don't want to get in the way. I want people to have a nice time and I am happy to stand by and watch."

Du Beke will be paired with former EastEnders actress Gillian Taylforth when Strictly returns to BBC One later this month.
