'Strictly' judge tips Gillian for boot

Craig Revel Horwood has predicted that Gillian Taylforth will be an "embarrassment" on Strictly Come Dancing.

The show's judge claimed that the former EastEnders star and her professional partner Anton du Beke will be eliminated this weekend.

"She'll be an embarrassment and be the first girl voted off," Horwood told the Daily Star. "I can't wait to watch her."

Horwood also warned model Jodie Kidd and actress Jessie Wallace that they have little chance of making it far in the competition.

On Kidd, he said: "She's like a giraffe. I thought she'd be okay having done catwalks, but she's gangly."

Speaking about Wallace, he added: "You have to be fast on that dancefloor and she isn't exactly a fast mover, is she?"

The show's female celebrities compete for the first time in tonight's episode, which airs on BBC One at 6.45pm.
