Daltrey: 'Strictly' is rubbish telly

The pair have been friends since Daniels starred in 1979 film Quadrophenia, which was based on The Who's album of the same name.
Speaking at the Q Awards, Daltrey told Teletext: "Phil's a great bloke, and a very funny man. But Strictly Come Dancing? Leave off.
"It's rubbish telly. Phil's better than that show - he must have only been doing it for a laugh."
