More doubts over Brucie's 'Strictly' future

Bruce Forsyth is planning to announce his retirement from Strictly Come Dancing, according to The People.

The newspaper claims that the veteran presenter, 80, has told BBC executives that he will leave the popular show at the end of the current series.

Of the persistent speculation over his future with Strictly, Forsyth said earlier this year: "They were saying that I wasn’t going to do any more Strictly Come Dancing the first year I did it. Then they said it would be my last year the second year.

"Each year they try and put words in my mouth, but I’m not saying them."

Bookmakers William Hill are already offering odds on Forsyth's replacement, with Graham Norton the 4-1 favourite. Other contenders include Terry Wogan, Paul O'Grady and Tess Daly's husband Vernon Kay.
