Cole smashes knee on tube escalator

Brendan Cole is worried that he may look silly on Strictly Come Dancing this week after injuring his knee on the tube.

The professional dancer slipped on an escalator and ended up bleeding on his trousers, reports The Sun.

Cole was on the way to watch Kelly Brook's West End comedy Fat Pig when the incident occurred.

"I fell up the escalator and ripped the c*** out of my knee," he said. "I can't bend my leg properly and my jeans are covered in blood. It's not good."

The New Zealander expressed concerns that producers would attempt to make him "look like a d**k" when he performs the paso doble with Lisa Snowdon on Saturday. The finale of the dance features Cole dropping to his knees heavily.
