The TV host and dance partner Matthew Cutler found themselves in the bottom two for the first time after performing the tango and salsa in the latest live round. They were joined by Rachel Stevens and Vincent Simone, who had previously escaped the axe three weeks ago.
Bleakley and Cutler had been criticised by the judges for their tango in the performance show. Craig Revel Horwood described their efforts as "not good enough", while Arlene Phillips suggested that the presenter lacked "core strength".
The pair's tango picked up praise from the panel, but they still ended up with just 58 points out of 80 by the end of the round.
In the judges' vote, all four panellists agreed that Stevens deserved to be given another chance, leaving Bleakley as the latest star to be sent home.
Speaking afterwards, she explained: "I thought I would go in the first week. It's been absolutely incredible. I can't thank people enough for their support. In Northern Ireland and over here. I'm going to miss [Matthew] every day more than anything."
Stevens will now compete against Austin Healey, Lisa Snowdon and Tom Chambers when the show continues next Saturday.
