Chambers upset over 'Strictly' backlash

Strictly Come Dancing's Tom Chambers is upset at the backlash caused by last weekend's voting controversy, reports The Mirror.

The BBC received viewer complaints when Chambers was put through to the final because he had nobody to face in the dance-off after Lisa Snowdon and Rachel Stevens beat him with equal judges' scores.

Some Strictly fans have called for Chambers to walk out on the show to allow Snowdon and Stevens to contest the final.

A show insider is quoted as saying: "Things have turned sour for Tom since Saturday. He and Camilla (Dallerup, his dance partner) wanted to get through properly, not be given a free ride. They feel they could have won a dance-off.

"Camilla is really upset and has been crying. She doesn't want anyone to think they have cheated in any way."
