Robbie: 'I want to be on 'Strictly''

Robbie Williams has admitted that he loves to watch Strictly Come Dancing and that he aspires to make an appearance on the show.

The singer revealed that he could be tempted to compete on the BBC programme, despite some confusion over the show's name.

"You can expect me on Celebrity Come Dancing towards the end of the summer next year," he wrote on his official website.

Williams, who has been living in LA for five years, also admitted that he missed life in Britain.

"It was my recent trip to England that did it. I felt plugged in. Roots! I really miss it," he wrote. "For all its crap weather, I need to be among Brits again.

"Back in Britain, I listened to the radio in the car, watched what and who was on the TV and then it all came back. Ambition, that is. I wanted to put an album out the next day."
