Arlene Phillips 'lands GMTV judging job'
Published Saturday, Aug 1 2009, 13:50 BST | By Daniel Kilkelly

According to the Daily Mail, Phillips will be the main expert on the morning programme's new talent search The No.1 Family, which launches in the autumn.
Presented by Jeff Brazier, The No.1 Family will see musical relatives from around the country competing for a record contract with Universal.
A GMTV source confirmed: "There are talks going on with Arlene about doing something with us in the autumn. Everyone here is very keen but it is early days."
Phillips, 66, was dropped from Strictly Come Dancing after six series last month. She will be replaced by 30-year-old popstar Alesha Dixon when the new run begins later this year.
The BBC's decision has led to a public backlash, with allegations of ageism being levelled at the broadcaster and fans threatening to boycott the show.
Phillips has already signed up to be a Strictly expert on The One Show this autumn.
