The former X Factor judge admitted that she considered signing up for the BBC reality series, but it was the physical rather than financial demands which stopped her in the end.
"There was a lot of speculation about me doing Strictly Come Dancing this year, but you know what? I just couldn't be arsed to do it," she told Love It magazine.
"I seriously considered it for a while but basically I'm a lazy old cow. Several newspapers said I wasn't doing it because they weren't paying me enough money. But that's rubbish as the money goes to colon cancer charity.
"The truth is I couldn't make a physical commitment for five hours a day, six days a week for several months. I've been watching Kelly [Osbourne, daughter] rehearsing for the American version Dancing With The Stars and it's a horrendous schedule. I couldn't do it."
