The 'Valerie' singer told Forsyth about her old fears when she was a guest performer on Strictly Come Dancing on Saturday.
"'Amy Winehouse confessed to Bruce that she had seven years of nightmares about him after he played a villain in Bedknobs And Broomsticks," said the official BBC Strictly Twitter feed earlier today.
The TV veteran, 81, played a criminal called Swinburne in the 1971 Walt Disney classic.
Winehouse appeared on Strictly at the weekend with her goddaughter Dionne Bromfield, who performed her debut single 'Mama Said'.
