The show's host Bruce Forsyth revealed the news on Saturday night on BBC One. According to the Daily Record, Rod Stewart has also signed up for the show.
The Bee Gees will sing on next Saturday's live show, while Mariah Carey and Better Midler are also tipped to be among the upcoming acts.
"Lily is someone both shows wanted so we're delighted," said a source. "She is just the kind of star who will help attract younger fans to the series. And Rod Stewart is another big name we are delighted to get."
Allen reportedly chose to appear on Strictly instead of The X Factor. She releases 'Who'd Have Known' from her It's Not Me, It's You album on November 30.
