Du Beke 'having brill time with Rouass'

Anton Du Beke has said that his Strictly Come Dancing experience with Laila Rouass has been "brill".

He and the Footballers' Wives actress claimed that they have the same aims on the show and admitted that they sometimes do not want rehearsals to finish.

"I spend more time with him than anyone else," Rouass told DS. "Sometimes I want to kill him and sometimes I don't want to go home. Sometimes I say, 'Can I come home with you?' But that's rare! That's only when he's been really nice to me.

"But you have to get on. You're in it together and you both want the same thing, which is to go out on Saturday and perform your best. You both have the same goal in mind. I came to a point two weeks ago when I realised that if I didn't stop being nervous, I would look back and not really enjoy it."

Du Beke added: "It's been brill, brill, brill. We're together all the time."

The Hole In The Wall presenter also promised that he would wear Ian Waite's sparkly trousers if they manage to score the highest marks from the judges this week.

"If we finish top of the leaderboard, I'm wearing Ian's sparkly trousers for the paso doble," he said. "Except they won't be black sparkles - I'm going to add a colour."
