'Strictly Come Dancing' sold to US

ABC, the network currently enjoying success with UK imports Wife Swap and Supernanny, will make a domestic version for broadcast this May.
The show has been a huge Saturday night ratings success in the UK, peaking with almost 12 million viewers for its second series finale in December.
A domestic version has also pulled in huge audiences for the Seven network in Australia.
