The prima ballerina, who gave up professional dance two years ago, has been partnered with Ian Waite for a jive.
Bussell, who vowed to be a harsh critic when she joined the BBC One show's judging panel last week, will then be given feedback on her Latin moves by her fellow judges, the Daily Mail reports.
The 40-year-old said: "To go from being a performer for quite a few years to a judge and now attempting to dance - it feels like I am in a different zone. It's been quite nerve-wracking.
"I know everyone has known me as the classical professional ballet dancer, I'd love for people to think of me a pro Latin dancer."
Waite said that he was honoured to be dancing with Bussell, adding: "As far as picking things up I wish all of my celebrities could be that fast!"
The Strictly Come Dancing semi-final is tonight at 6.45pm on BBC One.
