The Strictly Come Dancing star was due to carry out a number of interviews to publicise her new book Baby Diaries over the coming days. Instead, a spokeswoman for the 40-year-old told The Sun that she would be "taking some time out".
Kay, 35, admitted sending explicit texts to five women earlier this week. A friend said that Daly is "furious" with her husband of six years, with whom she has two daugters.
"She hopes that now he has confessed it will be the end of it, but it's still very painful for her. She has been humiliated by someone she loves dearly and the timing could not be worse," the source said.
"As well as stories about her two kids, her diaries talk about her supposedly fabulous marriage. She knows it will look slightly ridiculous."
