The TV magician made the dig about the ITV1 talent show following his elimination from Strictly last night.
Speaking about the rival entertainment shows, he told DS: "I much prefer watching professionals doing what professionals do best.
"And the professional dancers on Strictly are amazing. They are beyond amazing. I mean I'm not sure if you caught the show last night, but Flavia [Cacace] was unbelievable."
The 72-year-old performer also called on his fans to follow in his footsteps and take up dance.
"It's been fun for me, because I've been doing things that I've never done before," he said. "I can tell anyone who doesn't dance, go for lessons. Please go for lessons. You will love it. And you will lose weight."
Strictly continues on Saturday at 6pm on BBC One.
