Daniels: 'Horwood is bitter and twisted'

Paul Daniels has described Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood as "bitter and twisted".

The TV magician has blasted Horwood in his post-elimination interviews, claiming that the judge was lacking a sense of humour.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Daniels said: "I really do worry for the show. It's got to the stage where Len Goodman is the only judge the public takes seriously because he makes constructive criticisms.

"Alesha is just nice all the time and Bruno just makes people laugh."

Saving his strongest criticism for Horwood, he continued: "He is just bitter and twisted. No-one listens to him anymore. When I looked up at him after my dance, all I could see was this Spitting Image puppet and I just laughed.

"He needs a new hairdo. And I think he is insanely jealous that since I joined Strictly I've been losing weight and he hasn't."
