The Destiny's Child popstar, who was in the bottom two last week, admitted that she was tearful on the results show because she is desperate to stay on the BBC One reality show.
Williams was in the bottom last weekend alongside Paul Daniels and is the bookmakers' favourite for the chop this Sunday.
Speaking on It Takes Two, the singer said: "It was one of the worst feelings in the world, because honestly I'm not ready to go home yet. I made plans to be here... at least give me to Thanksgiving. Or maybe even Christmas time!
"I had tears flowing and you'd have thought that they'd called my name to go home, but that was the relief of staying."
Her dance partner for this week's routine, Ian Waite, has backed her to come good this Saturday when they will perform a tango for the judges.
"I just don't think the rumba was the right dance for Michelle," he said. "I think acting is a strong part of what Michelle can do and I think the character we have got for the tango will really suit her."
Strictly continues on Saturday at 6pm on BBC One.
